Stravaganza is a card game developed by Playtech, and was considered one of the best online casino games in 2022. The game is played by a single player and the cards are scored as in Blackjack except in this game the Aces count for 1 point.

Based on Blackjack, the objective of the game is for the player to beat the dealer’s hand.

It is an extravagant and larger than life game as the name suggests.

Let’s get the chips flowing:

Starting gameplay is simple, all you need to do is choose your wager amount, by clicking on the chip button, this will increase the wager if so required.

You will receive two cards dealt face up, whilst the dealer will receive three cards face down.

Here’s the thing, depending on your points you must decide whether to retrieve your money, save your bet, play or sit.

Should you decide to go for the money-back option you will receive a full refund and exit the game if your points are less than 5, the Sit option allows you to continue playing with two cards and your initial bet if your hand is 10 or more.

Stravaganza Rescue Option

Choosing the Rescue Option will see you receive half your bet back and exit the round if your points are between 6 and 9. The Brave will continue to play on, you then need to make an additional bet equal to your first bet and a third card will then be dealt as you continue playing.

Should the player decide to Sit or Play the dealer will at some point during the game reveal his/her hand (three cards) and if its higher than yours you lose the bet, should it be the other way around you will get a pay-out of 1:1 on both bets.

If the dealer has a Red Ace At the start of the game should the dealer hold a Red Ace card as his first you will then lose his Play Bet and Play on Bet if made.

Players will receive a bonus on the following hands:

• Three of a Kind shall pay a bonus of 3x the Play Bet.
• Three Face Cards shall pay a bonus of 1.5x the Bet.

Playing Strategically:

Strategy is of vital importance in the Blackjack type game so personally I’d advise to invoke the Money Back option with five or less points, the Rescue option with 6-9 points, Sit with 10 points 9except should you have two fives) and finally Play on with 11 or more points or with two fives.

Lastly fold a pair of fours or less without hesitation as they are not worth the risk and no real rewards to take a chance on with such=h a low hand.

Stravaganza Bonus Feature:

The Three-Card Hand will open the chance of getting the Bonus Feature, meaning when you have three of a kind you could receive a pay-out of 3x your initial bet. If the cards are however not of similar rank your pay-out will only be 1.5x your bet.
