The Invisible Man slot is based on the original movie which was first released in 1933. The movie was actually based on a novel , written by H G Wells as far back as 1897. The movie is one of the classics of horror movies and had audiences completely in its spell.

The story is based on a scientist, Dr Jack griffin, who specializes in optics research. He develops a drug known as Monocane and as he is anxious to prove the drug, he injects himself.  The result is he becomes invisible but unfortunately the drug also made him insane.

Covering himself in bandages he checks into a small country inn. However however a series of tragic events end up with the owner of the Inn getting killed – and so begins the Invisible Man’s reign of terror.

Dr Griffin then entices his assistant, a Dr Kemp to join him in his mad campaign. This was to murder at random and generally create mayhem with the local citizens.
